- Wednesday, 4 March 2009IVA specialists could be the key to Britons' family futures, as well as their financial futures.
Experian reveals that almost a quarter (23 per cent) of 23 to 25-year-olds are putting off starting a family due to financial concerns.
More (27 per cent) of those surveyed revealed that they are also delaying switching jobs in the current climate.
Charlotte Hogg, managing director of Experian UK & Ireland, says: "Our analysis reveals that we are seeing consumers react altogether more dramatically to the state of the economy."
For Britons keen to make sure they do not lose momentum in their personal or professional lives, consulting
IVA specialists could be advised.
By setting up an IVA people could find they are able to resolve any outstanding debts more quickly.
The total amount to be repaid could also be reduced by between 60 and 70 per cent, with the remainder written off.
Once the term of the IVA had been completed and a more secure financial footing achieved, starting a family or finding that dream job might not be so challenging.
