- Wednesday, 12 May 2010It is now possible to obtain medical support without risking the need for a
debt management plan.
Private healthcare company Bupa has launched an alternative to health insurance in the form of a low-cost cash plan.
Consumers under 40 can receive all the benefits of health insurance for as little as £11.70 a month. Furthermore customers will be able to get a quick diagnosis and treatment without resorting to
debt management in the future.
Emma Exelby, sales manager for Bupa Cash Plan, said: "Having listened to our customers, we have designed a product which gives people access to consultants as early as possible so that they can quickly find out what's wrong and get the right treatment as quickly as possible, all at an affordable price."
Bupa plans include quick treatment with no waiting lists, access to over 400 medical facilities, a 24-hour nurse health line for any medical concerns and access to drugs.
Reducing the cost of buying health insurance means consumers feel the benefits without getting into financial difficulty and perhaps needing a
debt management plan as a result.
